Introduction
Join CPChem - Performance Pipe within our Polymers & Specialties division as an Administrative Assistant at our Bloomfield location. This pivotal role within our Commercial business unit offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and smooth operation of our office environment. You will be a valued team member supporting various administrative functions that aid our business objectives and drive operational excellence.
As part of a dynamic team, you will engage directly with colleagues across departments, facilitating communication and ensuring timely completion of routine and semi-routine tasks. Responsibilities
- Handle semi-routine tasks with some level of autonomy, such as organizing small events.
- Coordinate office administration tasks including ordering IT equipment, office supplies, coordination of interviews, and maintaining team files per record retention guidelines.
- Manage schedules and appointments with regular updates, coordinating with team members as needed.
- Respond to queries and direct more complex inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Prepares expense reports, reconciles credit card statements, and processes invoices as necessary.
- Support document preparation, including proofreading, formatting, and basic data analysis.
- Liaise with other departments to obtain necessary information for tasks, maintaining clear communication.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of administrative assistance experience
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- Working knowledge of SharePoint
- Experience coordinating events
