Introduction

Join CPhem as a Service Specialist/Field Operator in our Supply Chain division based in Borger. This role plays a critical part in safely transporting highly valuable cargo across complex routes, ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards. As a member of the Commercial business unit, you will be entrusted with both operational and leadership responsibilities, directly impacting the efficiency and safety of our transportation operations. Responsibilities

  • Make complex trips carrying highly valuable cargo
  • Establishes safety initiatives, goals and metrics for teams
  • Helps management implement driver training programs focused on safety and compliance
  • Analyzes routes, tools and processes to improve efficiency
  • Establishes partnerships/relationships with major stakeholders
  • Resolves escalated complaints from regulators, customers, drivers
  • Help establish policies on idling practices and environmental impact
  • Utilizes transportation management system for dispatching, billing
  • Audits driver logs, fuel usage reports and inventory records
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to promote driver health/wellness initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • A valid CDL Class A license with Tanker Truck Endorsement
  • Safe driving record that meets all DOT regulations and requirements
  • Ability to travel and be away from home on average of 4 days at a time
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
  • Ability to work overtime at various times
  • Ability to work at elevations above 6 feet
  • Ability to use a variety of personal safety equipment
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills, dedicated to safe job performance, safety of the facility, and its employees
  • Live within a 100 mile radius of the CPChem Borger facility

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of over-the-road driving experience
  • HazMat endorsement
