Responsibilities
- Supports technical corrective and preventive maintenance operations on machinery according to schedules
- Delivers day to day support and technical guidance to effectively execute the maintenance tasks
- Undertakes troubleshooting of field equipment issues and significant equipment overhauls
- Ensures that maintenance/construction mechanical work, is completed in a timely fashion and in accordance with the Maintenance process
- Carries our repairs or modifications of mechanical equipment, machinery and systems
- Monitors gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine or equipment is working properly
- Performs routine maintenance on mechanical equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date technical documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment strategies
- Ensures that proper safety practices are followed
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience as a General Mechanic, Pipefitter, Boilermaker, or related field
- Must be able to pass forklift, scissor lift, and JLG hands on evaluation
- Must be able to pass a physical exam to operate mobile equipment
- Ability to satisfy requirements of all Federal, State, Local, ANSI, ASME, API regulations, NEC codes and practices
- Basic technology skills that allow for access of email, outlook calendar, and performing any online computer-based trainings
- Basic smart phone or tablet capabilities that allow for use of company digital applications
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office and SAP experience
- NCCCO or NCCER certification
- Prior experience as a pump mechanic
- Prior expereince as a machinist
