Description: 

Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) with Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC, through a wholly owned affiliate Arabian Chevron Phillips Petrochemical Company (ACP), has two 50/50 joint venture projects in the Eastern Province Industrial City of Al-Jubail: Saudi Chevron Phillips Company (SCP) and Jubail Chevron Phillips Company (JCP). A third joint venture, Saudi Polymers Company (SPCo), is jointly owned by ACP and National Petrochemical Company (Petrochem). 

Purpose/Introduction

Supervises maintenance activities for plant turnarounds, routine repair corrective maintenance activities and equipment troubleshooting for Instrumentation equipment. Provides technical support and oversight to a team of Technicians to complete day to day activities. Provides technical and/or field support to O&M and Technical groups for accomplishing production goals and successful completion of MOCs, projects, and reliability efforts

Responsibilities

Performs the process and activities, may include but not limited to:

• Must be a role model for safety and believe we can "Work safely or not at all” and embrace the Tenets of Operation as a basis for action and decision making

• Understands and promotes the concept of proactive safety, and takes personal responsibility to seek out “at risk” behaviors and conditions to positively contribute to the overall goal of zero incidents

• Provides environmental, health, and safety leadership in maintaining a goal of zero incidents, process safety and environmental events within area of responsibility.

• Plans and supervise execution of maintenance tasks to achieve maximum availability/reliability of equipment while controlling operations costs without comprising integrity or reliability.

• Priorities and supervise execution of plant maintenance activities for Instrumentation equipment.

• Supervises maintenance work for turnarounds for Instrumentation equipment. 

• Supervises troubleshooting and rectification of process equipment and systems for Instrumentation equipment.

• Supervises the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary for Instrumentation equipment.

 • Supervises and ensures good housekeeping in the workplace.

• Supervises and when needed conducts toolbox meetings prior to starting work activities.

• Participate in EHS incident investigations. Ensures compliance with EHS systems. Supervises contractors to ensure compliance with the organization’s WSH and EMS standards and practices

• Assist the organization’s risk management team to continually improve risk management plans. Support/participate in Emergency Drills and Exercises as required.

• Ensures timely recording and input of maintenance work in the system.

• Applies for and obtain the type of work permit (general or hot work or confined space permit) needed to carry out the maintenance job

• Ensures implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for maintenance work for Instrumentation equipment.

 • Reviews monthly Maintenance KPI to focus attention on the worst indicators to help support overall department improvements.

• Supervises the performance of shift personnel, including disciplinary action as appropriate. Supervises crew members to meet requirements for payment, leaves…etc.

 • Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.

• Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.

• Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.

• Performs any other relevant task as directed by Superintendent Instrumentation and Electrical 

Required Qualifications

Diploma Degree (least possible)

Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Electrical Engineering Discipline

B1 English Language Level
