Chevron Phillips Chemical is currently seeking an HR Business Partner to join our team at our Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.  Responsibilities of the open positions include full-scale HR Generalist support associated with manufacturing facilities. Selected candidates will report to the local Human Resources Manager and be involved in the development and implementation of strategic HR programs in partnership with the plant leadership and corporate HR teams. Selected candidates will play a role in key HR initiatives including employee and or labor relations, workforce planning, recruiting/staffing, organizational development, talent/performance management, diversity/inclusion, compensation, regulatory compliance, employee communications, public affairs and other projects/duties as assigned.  At times, the successful candidate may have the delegation of the HR Manager.  



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration or related field.  Graduate-level degreed candidates are also encouraged to apply. 
  • At least 7 years of HR Business Partner or Generalist experience. Corporate and Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization including senior leaders.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP or another ERP system.  
  • Successful candidates should have demonstrated the ability to manage the design and implementation of HR programs and services. 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • A team-oriented focus, leadership skills and strong business acumen are also important for superior performance in this position.
  • Flexibility to relocate to other CPChem facilities in the future is required for the successful candidate
  • Strong potential to assume HR leadership roles is an important asset for the successful candidate.
