Learning Management System Administrator

The Learning Management Administrator is a member of the Human Resources Department’s Learning and Development team and reports to the Training System Supervisor.  This role is highly collaborative and is a key contributor to the successful execution of the Company’s global Learning and Development Strategy. 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the standards, procedures, data integrity, reporting and overall functionality of the Learning Management System and related systems, including but not limited to: coordinating maintenance and upgrades; creating and running standard and ad hoc reports; setting up and managing offerings, monitoring enrollment and cancelling/rescheduling courses and participants when needed
  • Ensure appropriate course/curricula assignment based on job classification, regulatory and competence requirements
  • Manage course enrollment when necessary and coordinate all related communication with vendors, internal or external instructors, the course venue, and class participants
  • Serve as L&D point of contact for system upgrades and/or migration to new platforms, including planning and coordinating user testing
  • Support global system administrators in use of the Learning Management System
  • Support the coordination of programs such as First Level Leader, Mid-Level Leader, Accelerated Leaders Development Program, etc.
  • Handle vendor invoices in relation to costs control and charge outs
  • Serve on the organization’s plant-based learning and development and best practice team and regularly collaborate with members
  • Develop and maintain web-pages for Learning & Development
  • Utilize SAP for defining training audiences and pulling data for analysis
  • Analyze course data and evaluations and prepare reports to assist in the tracking of course effectiveness
  • Coordinate Learning Center staff on-site when extra assistance is required with delegate check-in and out, catering management, room set-up and related on-site details
  • Monitor the Learning and Development Outlook Mailbox
  • Review final course attendance lists and break down costs for chargeback
  • Support L&D in the creation and tracking of departmental metrics



  • Bachelor's Degree (in Education, Business Management, Human Resources, Organization Development) or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience



  • 3 or more years of Learning Management Systems experience
  • Experience administering, coordinating and planning for regulatory and other compliance training
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Proficient in Articulate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application and SharePoint; expertise in Excel
