Performance Pipe is currently seeking a Quality Coordinator. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ensuring compliance of our processes and products with national and international standards as well as customer requirements. 

 

The Quality Coordinator leads, supports, and collaborates with the Quality & Services Supervisors at each Performance Pipe plant.  Additional responsibilities include:

 

  • Administer and champion quality objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide quality reports and presentations to management.
  • Directs and manages the internal and external auditing of Performance Pipe facilities and suppliers.
  • Maintains the quality system to ensure that it supports the business strategic goals and is in compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
  • Provides direction, education, support, and resources to the plant Quality staff and fosters the development of the plants Quality Assurance staff as a team.
  • Acts as company liaison with regulatory agencies, establishes and maintains 3rd party listings and ensure compliance with these agency regulations including UP Code, CSA, FM, UL, NSF, CNCP and any others as needed to support sales.
  • Actively support the sales and marketing, pricing, customer service and scheduling team on resolving product quality documentation issues with customers.
  • Provide ownership of the customer feedback system and works with all appropriate parties to drive resolution to all customer complaints.
  • Maintains and updates Performance Pipe’s packaging manual.
  • Provide support as needed to the commercial group in the development of new products.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • A minimum education of High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant quality work experience.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office software applications.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to business, technical or quality control.
  • Quality testing and polyethylene pipe manufacturing experience.
  • Quality management experience.
  • Working knowledge of pipe product standards.
  • Lead auditor experience.
  • ISO lead auditor certification.
  • ASQ membership and training.
