Purpose/Introduction

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Marketing Aide for our Americas Polyethylene Division located in The Woodlands, TX.

Our ideal candidate will be committed to promoting and ensuring a safe work environment with demonstrated skills in planning; organizing and accomplishing his/her work in an efficient manner. This candidate should be a self-starter, a team player, adaptable, an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the sales and marketing effort for Polyethylene resins
  • Provide volume, rebate or other ad hoc reports for sales representatives and/or customers
  • Enter pricing records, quotes and/or pricing overrides
  • Process and monitor invoicing for accuracy and timely distribution for domestic and export customers
  • Set up rebate accruals and reconcile at the end of the accrual period
  • Research payment details for Overpays/Shortpays and reconcile customer accounts timely
  • Invoice railcar demurrage and/or rental charges
  • Work with internal and external Customers including Customer Account Coordinators, Accounts Receivables and Credit Teams on various issues including returns, credit and debit memos, collections, payment application.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Customer Information and Pricing Records

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years of customer service, accounts payable/receivable or equivalent experience, and High School diploma or GED required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully interact in a team environment
  • Accuracy in handling customer transactions
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • SAP and/or Business Warehouse experience highly preferred
  • Vendavo experience
