Title: Analyst - Payroll & Benefits

Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) with Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC, through a wholly owned affiliate Arabian Chevron Phillips Petrochemical Company (ACP), has two 50/50 joint venture projects in the Eastern Province Industrial City of Al-Jubail: Saudi Chevron Phillips Company (SCP) and Jubail Chevron Phillips Company (JCP). A third joint venture, Saudi Polymers Company (SPCo), is jointly owned by ACP and National Petrochemical Company (Petrochem).
Purpose/Introduction
Prepares and may enter all payroll and benefits related data accurately into the SAP/EC payroll System and runs the payroll to ensure that all employees receive their salaries and benefits timely every month.
Responsibilities
Performs the process and activities, may include but not limited to:
- Checks payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order.
- Assigning the early salary and progression compensation following the policy and approved Matrix.
- Ensure system data and calculations are accurate for allocations and deductions related to hours worked, leaves, overtime, bonus, payments & reimbursements against allowances and benefits.
- Initiates periodical/off cycle payments such as advance allowances, medical, Furnishing, tuition fee, travel reimbursements are timely processed in alignment to the policies/ practices and ensures proper record management.
- Updates paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
- Participates and facilitates the payroll reconciliation process with finance department.
- Deals with complaints and questions regarding payroll & benefits from employees and upper management
- Investigates and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
- Ensures proper filing & record management for employee’s payroll transactions such as GOSI, Leaves, Disciplinary actions etc.
- Coordinates with stakeholders about changes in payroll & prepares payroll reports for management review/approval and auditing purposes.
- Maintains all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures, industry regulations, tax, and deduction laws.
- Ensures compliance and related coordination to be aligned with Wage Protection System and sorting out all related concerns.
- Prepares and submit reports with payroll information to supervisor.
- Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.
- Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.
- Performs any other relevant task as directed by Supervisor Payroll and Benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Academic background includes a minimum of bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or MIS.
- 2-5 years of related Payroll experience preferably in petrochemical sector.
- +2 years of practical experience using SAP/EC Payroll system.
- CIPD certification is preferable.
Skills/Performance Indicators
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
