Purpose/Introduction

The available position at our Bloomfield, IA facility requires the ability to work safely in a team-oriented environment.  Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.  Applicants must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States. A high School education or GED is required.  Secondary degree is preferred (Associate's Degree, etc.) 

Responsibilities

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Measuring and documenting all dimensions on sample parts being submitted by production using ID gages, OD and wall micrometers, pi-tapes, calipers, CMM equipment, etc.
  • Operate testing equipment such as, but not limited to hy-press, burst cabinet, melt index machine, etc.
  • Calibrate measuring instruments
  • Record scanning for record retention
  • Actively participate in safety activities 

Required Qualifications

⦁    HS Diploma, GED
⦁    Experience with various tools
⦁    Excellent math skills
⦁    Proficient in Microsoft Office
⦁    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
⦁    Proficient in the English language 
⦁    Ability to multi-task and prioritize job responsibilities 
⦁    Ability to keep accurate reports and data
⦁    Ability to work safely in a team-oriented environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without an assist
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing job responsibilities
