Performance Pipe, a division of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP, is the largest producer of polyethylene piping products in North America. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain sales demand at current accounts and grow demand share.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships.
- Develop and optimize individual customer and territory strategy.
- Manage all aspects of customer accounts.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and end use application.
- Gather and report industry data and intelligence.
- Collaborate with Technical Services group.
- Share intelligence and market information to ensure internal alignment.
- Attend and participate in industry specific conferences and trade shows.
- Serve as liaison between internal and external business partners.
- Achieve financial objectives.
- Utilize digital tools for collection and reporting.
- Manage territory effectively through traveling to meet with customers and dealing with commercial issues while managing expenses and maintaining compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum education of bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience selling to complex and multi-site corporate accounts or relevant work experience.
- Self-driven with excellent team skills, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a highly organized manner.
- Ability to build and manage high-level relationships at various levels within an organization.
- Commitment and flexibility to accommodate remote-based office and domestic travel.
- Experience negotiating pricing, contracts and supply agreements, or working directly with vendors or engineering firms.
- Proficient with SAP, Salesforce CRM, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing or related fields.
- Polyethylene Pipe experience is a plus.
