Purpose/Introduction
Responsibilities
⦁ Follows safe work practices, basic operations procedures and contributes to a safe work culture
⦁ Follows the Tenets of Operations, COO/OD, and Life Saving Rules
⦁ Performs calibration functions on processing equipment
⦁ Uses basic power tools
⦁ Measures pipe and verifies dimensional tolerances are within criteria
⦁ Prepares product for shipping per packaging requirements
⦁ Assists teammates with plant procedures
Required Qualifications
⦁ High School Diploma or GED.
⦁ At least 5 years of related experience
⦁ Demonstrated work history of shift work
⦁ General knowledge and experience using power tools
⦁ Basic computer and math skills
⦁ Proficient in English. (verbal and written)
⦁ Follows workplace/plant safety practices and procedures
Essential Requirements
⦁ Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance
⦁ Capable of being on concrete flooring for long periods of time
⦁ Available to work rotating 12-hour shifts (including weekends and holidays)
Preferred Qualifications
⦁ Experience in a manufacturing environment
⦁ Plastics extrusion process experience
