Purpose/Introduction

Seeking full time employee in a 24/7/365 plastic extrusion operation, producing high quality polyethylene products.  Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30am – 3: 00pm with schedule changes to support weekend operations as needed, requiring either Monday or Sunday work.

Responsibilities

 

This position requires physical handling, inspection, measurement and testing of plastic pipe using a variety of mechanical test equipment.  Use of micrometer, pi tape and other hand tools is required.  Candidate must have basic computer and math skills, the ability to produce accurate documentation of test records and be proficient in English.  Learning and applying the applicable ASTM and other quality standards is required.

Required Qualifications

  •  High School or GED diploma
  •  Required to stand / walk through much of the work day
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • Drive forklifts as needed

 

 

Additional Information

Candidates must be highly safety oriented and have a stable work history.  Pre-employment and ongoing testing includes controlled substances, physical, MS evaluation, background check, audiogram and vision.
