The Business Intelligence & Analytics GRAD will work within an agile team to deliver valuable analytics and data visualization solutions that facilitate better decision support within our lines of business. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates to apply their analytics skills to real-world problems in a professional environment. This successful candidate will get to work with seasoned professionals across multiple subdisciplines in the field of analytics: Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Engineering. 

Responsibilities:

• “Tell the Story” by: 

  • Identifying the business challenge and problem statement 

  • Identifying, analyzing, and preparing the relevant data 

  • Developing powerful visualizations to provide insights and communicate the right story

• Understand, support, and troubleshoot our analytics platforms 

• Adhere to data governance policies and procedures and ensure compliance with data privacy and security 

• Work with other analytics sub-teams to: 

  • Source data from untapped systems

  • Identify opportunities for analytics solutions

  • Learn those areas of expertise 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Bachelor’s degrees in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, finance, economics, statistics, analytics, or data science

• Relevant class or work experience in acquiring/analyzing data in Power BI or other BI tools

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or other data relevant scripting languages 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to be effective in a team environment 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for data-driven decision making, analytical problem solving and a curious mindset 

• Experience with a Big Data platform like Spark is a plus 

• Experience with hyperscalers like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP a plus
