Americas Polyethylene is seeking a Sales Coordinator responsible for facilitating distribution sales in the Americas. This position will be responsible for the general sales and marketing of polyethylene resins as well as supporting the domestic distribution and export resin sales managers. The Sales Coordinator will primarily focus on internal processes used to develop profitable growth as well as attracting and developing external third-party business relationships. As part of our CPChem Career Ladder, a successful candidate is expected to be assigned to a different commercial role for direct responsibilities in the future.

The successful candidate will be located in The Woodlands, Texas at Headquarters.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with Export and Domestic Distribution Managers to develop and optimize PE sales opportunities and sales plan targets.
- Manage specific customer relationships.
- Support cross functional teams to complete Performance by Design efforts.
- Manage varying aspects of customer accounts including supply chain, spot sales and product mix requirements.
- Responsible for managing global ASO price entries.
- Generate customer forecasts and enter customer prices into database.
- Gather, report, and maintain industry data and intelligence for product line.
- Understand and represent Americas Polyethylene products and capabilities to internal and external customers.
- Share intelligence and information throughout the product line and company as appropriate.
- Define customer requirements for PE products.
- Market new and existing Polyethylene resins through distribution channels, both domestically and export
- Determine future resin needs for customers with the sales channel.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required: Business, Engineering or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ related professional experience required.
- Demonstrates aptitude for problem solving, relationship building, analytical ability and sales.
- Up to 25% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Polymer products knowledge desired
