The Intern Cloud Developer will work within a Scrum product team to write either frontend or backend code. The successful candidate should be able to work effectively with others, take personal responsibility for deliverables they commit to, and learn quickly while on the job. Strong communication skills are required, along with a high degree of self-motivation. Successful candidate will report to one of the Cloud Developer Supervisors and join a growing group of software developers.
Responsibilities:

Participate in requirements gathering within a Scrum team.

Collaborate with other developers within a team structure to vet and solidify designs.

Develop quality web application components, applying best practices as they are learned
-
Solve technical development issues in their area(s) of expertise, seeking guidance from others proactively
-
Initiate, participate in, and learn from code reviews as part of the Git pull request process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not now or in the future require sponsorship by the employer

Completion of at least two years towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related degree plan.

Experience building web sites/applications either independently or as part of coursework using core web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, and CSS)

Experience writing non-web applications either independently or as part of coursework
-
Demonstrated knowledge of software development paradigms and logic flow.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Available to work a minimum of eight continuous weeks
Preferred:
-
Experience with industry-standard web technologies, such as TypeScript or React

Experience with GitHub for version control, documentation, and collaboration

Experience using .NET (C#) to write web or non-web applications
