Chevron Phillips is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join the Human Resources organization located at The Woodlands, TX headquarters location. The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for supervision of recruiting team members, developing and leading talent acquisition strategy initiatives for experienced hiring, the college recruiting programs for GRADs and Interns, and other projects/duties as assigned. The Talent Acquisition team is a centralized function that handles full lifecycle recruiting for customer groups at all U.S. company locations.  #HPCP

 

 The selected candidate will report to the Compliance, Labor Relations & Talent Acquisition Manager and be involved in the development and implementation of strategic HR programs in partnership with the leadership and corporate and manufacturing HR teams. At times, the successful candidate may have the delegation of the Compliance, Labor Relations & Talent Acquisition Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develops and leads talent acquisition strategy for experienced hiring and the college recruiting programs for GRADs and Interns
  • Supervises recruiting team members, including all aspects of performance management, managing workload distribution of the recruiting team, leading, and developing team
  • Builds meaningful relationships with leadership to ensure business alignment and creates an environment of trust that allows for transparent and efficient processes along with making presentations and maintaining rapport
  • Implements best practices to attract and recruit diverse talent including use of technology, social media, community outreach, military, educational, professional organizations, referral networks and outplacement agencies while ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations
  • Plans and manages yearly budgets for assigned cost centers
  • Provides branding support
  • Manages vendor contracts and relationships
  • Monitors talent market conditions

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum education of bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including talent acquisition
  • Prior supervisory experience in a corporate recruiting environment
  • Must be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and/or implement recruiting strategies or initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to meet recruitment goals and build talent pipelines in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders and providing full life cycle recruiting for a variety of professionals
  • Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements
  • Knowledge of Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SuccessFactors Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience designing and developing a veteran recruiting program
  • Experience managing and supporting college recruiting program(s)
  • Experience in Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing
